Stroke is a multi-disciplinary disease, and as such, this can assist the non-medical public to the kinds of skill sets available for stroke recovery and prevention. What survivors and caregivers might want to look for as they sort out resources in their individual journeys.

We define Strokologist as a medical professional who:

• Has an interest in stroke
• Has some relevant neuro training and experience
• And who spends a portion of their professional time treating stroke patients and/or focuses on stroke prevention.
