This is the first donation of nearly $10,000 raised from The Social on Feb 3 in Riverside Park in Bonita Springs. The Rotary Club of Bonita Beach Sunset and The Foundation of Bonita Beach Sunset support local and global organizations that have sustainable programs that further and enhance: disease treatment & prevention, health of mother & child, water treatment & purification, economic development, basic education & literacy, and peace & understanding. The Rotary Club of Bonita Beach Sunset has supported programs such as, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, Rotary Youth Exchange, Josh The Otter, RotaKids, The Rotary Foundation, Bonita Springs Assistance Office, Everglades Wonder Gardens, New Horizons of SWFL, and Habitat for Humanity Lee/Hendry. The Stroke Recovery Foundation in Southwest Florida was started by Stroke “victor” Bob Mandell (author of “Stroke Victor”) to provide educational information to help people in the recovery process.
